To apply for this scholarship, you will need to be:
- Currently employed by a Public School System in Maryland, and have been
admitted to, or already enrolled in, an accredited program leading to a degree and/or
certification in teaching or in an education specialty area at the time of application.- Certificated teachers enrolled in programs to earn an additional certification in a new area of
study: areas outlined in FAQ
- Non -certificated staff who have worked for the school system for at least 2 years. Including:
- Teacher Assistants/Aides/Paraprofessionals
- All Other Support Staff
- Substitute Teachers
